We rent lush garden-style floral arches, pillars, backdrops, aisle arrangements, and statement pieces for weddings and events.
Our superpower lies in the gorgeous artificial flowers we work with. Faux, real-touch, silk-however you describe them, these are not your craft store DIY roses.
Each stem is hand-selected from the best worldwide suppliers to ensure the final product looks, feels, and moves like it’s fresh.
Our pieces are created to coordinate well with bouquets or other decor and we are happy to provide a color palette for you.

Flo, the owner and designer, has surrounded herself with flowers from the time she buried her nose in her grandmother’s lilacs, picked tiny purple violets as summertime bouquets for her mom, and brought the perfume of peonies onto the dining room table. Technically trained, she learned the art of floristry at the knee of one of the best florists in her city. Those were the days when Flo’s childhood dreams were realized.
She cannot remember a time in her life that did not include this deep love of flowers for the creativity and expression they bring.
With years of experience as a floral designer and event producer, Flo knows how to create an impact with flowers. She offers her time-tested expertise through a modern idea: rent them.
Archetype is a simple, stress-free way to get the wedding or event florals in a style that says this is me.
We've already done all the work and are ready to deliver and put into place the backdrop for your event.

It’s as easy as:
- Search for your date to find available floral arches, pillars, backdrops, and arrangements.
- Select the style that will elevate your event and add items to your cart.
- Check out using your preferred payment and give us your event details.
We will reserve your chosen rental decor for your date and contact you if we need more information. On the day of your event, relax knowing we will deliver, set everything up, and return to pick it all up at the end.

We provide door-to-door service from our experienced team! Prices include delivery, set-up, and pick-up to/from one location within San Diego, CA and North County San Diego. We also serve select areas of southern Orange and Riverside counties.
You can discuss your specific requirements with us and we will work with your venue to deliver customized placement.
Locations with difficult access or outside our standard delivery area may incur additional fees.
Please note that a pick-up after 9:00 pm will incur a $300 fee.
If you are unsure if additional fees will apply, please email us with your venue address and details.

We can make that happen! Due to insurance requirements and the size/complexity of our floral pieces, our team will return to move your rental items to the additional location. (Yes, even if it’s on the same property.)
The rental price includes set-up for one location only. Any moves to another place will incur a $200 fee for our team to return, disassemble, move, and reassemble the items. Our team will pick the items up from this second location at your desired time.

At a minimum, we need to know your event date.
At checkout you will be asked to provide more information, such as:
- Time to set-up and pick-up the items
- Venue name, address, phone (so we can coordinate with them so you don’t have to!)
- Important details about the location (is this event inside, outside, at the beach, are there stairs or a long distance to cover, etc)
- Are there additional set-ups? (if you want us to move the items from one location to another, describe what you want to happen.)
If you don't have all of these details yet, that's fine! You can reserve your date and send us your information later.

Credit cards are accepted for the full price of your rental.
If you want to split your payments, choose Affirm or Klarna at checkout.

We will do our best to communicate with your venue to make this determination and relay to you any issues. However, ultimately it is your responsibility to work with your venue to ensure the items you select will fit. We make no guarantees.

If they are available, yes. However, due to limited quantities and high demand, we recommend that you order everything you want at the same time. Arches, pillars, and arrangements do sell out.

Perhaps! More options are in development. Depending on your request and our production schedule, we may be able to design a new collection for you to rent. Send us your idea and photo inspirations!
Another option is to ask us to add fresh flowers in the color of your choice. We do not remove any flowers that are already in our rental pieces, but we can add some just for your event!

We love fresh flowers and encourage you to use them for wedding bouquets and wearables, such as corsages.
For decor, there are big benefits of artificial, silk, real-touch flowers:
- Know ahead of time what your arches, pillars, backdrops, arrangements will look like. No more walking into your event and hoping everything matches your vision. Leave less to chance and feel confident that you’ll get the look you want.
- Our artificial flowers will survive heat and don’t need a water source. If you’ve ever had a bouquet wilt sooner than you hoped, you know how disappointing it can be. Don’t let this happen on your important day!
- Allergies be gone! Pollen, sap, or fragrance of fresh flowers and foliage can trigger allergies. There’s no place for that on a special occasion and artificial flowers are free from those common irritants.
- Freedom from the limitations of the fresh flower market. Many fresh flowers are only available during certain times of the year. If they can be obtained, they are even more expensive. Also, the weather and demand can cause shortages, leading to cancelled or substituted orders. Our floral rentals eliminate the possibility of having to compromise on your style.

Our products are designed with the highest quality faux flowers from the best suppliers in the world. These are not your craft store or online-marketplace DIY products. We do not buy cheaply-made, pre-made mass-produced pillars, arches or arrangements and turn around and rent them. These are our own designs, made by hand in-house. You will not find these anywhere else.
We are very selective, hand-choosing only the flowers and colors that look and behave exactly as real, fresh flowers do. You won’t find dyed, stiff, plastic flowers with Archetype. Our artificial flowers are so natural-looking, it’s hard to believe they aren’t fresh. Many of them (and always the focal flowers) are real-touch, which is the artificial flower market’s gold standard.
Our florals will remain looking fresh and beautiful from the start of your day all the way through its final moments.
